This pool works directly with hardware ASIC miners as well as rig rental services like Miningrigrentals.com and NiceHash.com. eCash uses SHA-256, so any Bitcoin ASIC can mine it. The miner's share of each block (currently ~1,812,500 XEC) is paid trustlessly, directly to each connected miner's configured wallet address. The rest of every eCash block goes to the network's dev fund and staking rewards, as the eCash rules require.
Sometimes Nicehash exits the pool test with an error. Don't worry. You can safely proceed with the order.
Your XEC address is the one starting with ecash:q. You can enter it with or without the ecash: part; leave it off if a rental site rejects the colon.
